Am i the only one feeling let down ?

I have to ask maybe its just me.

I feel I am been ignored. Ive bought two cars in less than 12 months from this dealer and although I have a new sales guy to speak to after my normal one left I'm feeling like giving up.

I requested first over 6 weeks ago that I wanted to trade in my AB new in December for a new SVR and can he tell me what kind of deal I would get on my car and when roughly I would get the SVR I said by summer would be nice failing that September would be ok.

Anyway I have been to the dealer twice and he doesn't have any information on my car or the new one was told give him two days and now another 2 weeks still nothing.

I have emailed as a reminder and no reply or call. Should I be making the effort to go to the dealer chasing something which a simple answer ? Should I need to phone up asking to speak to someone about it ?

Surely I shouldn't feel like I'm constantly chasing should I ?

Dealer have been good to me so don't want to move but should I just change dealer hoping for a better sales service ?

Rant over maybe its just me.

Go to another dealer and ask them for the value of the AB against an SVR and also the lead in on the SVR, then call back to dealer 1's DP and ask if he has so much business that he can ignore several requests from you for valuations and a quote..................... Then give him the opportunity to give the info in say 48 hours or you will place your order at dealer B.
It may be that dealer A has already sold his allocation of SVR's way into the future hence he doesn't want to sell another. You could take a look on the LR Approved used listing to see if dealer A has an SVR on it as there do seem to be a lot of pre-reg/ delivery miles demos for sale on the LR website and they cannot all be customer returns! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

United Kingdom 2011 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

Before I write this let me say I think this is the best car forum and I have been a member of many. Also I loved my 2011 RRS HSE but losing the car for three weeks in France and a £2,500 oil leak made me doubt my choice of vehicle. The attitude of LR Deales generally is lacking they don't really care and trade in prices are a joke.

Hopefully one day I will return to the fold but LR need to up their customer service. I have gone back to MB for the 30yr European breakdown cover and piece of mind. LR Assist only has limited cover in Eirope up to a limited number of days. Even WD were much better. Current Merc GLE 3.5d 2016 model, 2011 RRS HSE standard
Previous 2012 FL2 liked but boot too small
Previous to LR's 3 x Merc E320 estates - fantastic load carriers and long distance cruisers, ultra reliable. Only changed as needed a 4x4 high tow vehicle. Did have a 1955 early LR drop down windscreen and fuel tank under the drivers seat; again very reliable and super rugged.

I have always felt "loved" and looked after by my Dealer, but it seems obvious that not all Dealers are as careful with their clients.

Personally, were I to be receiving the lack of service you are (especially when you are looking to buy a near on 6 figure vehicle!) I would be onto the Dealer Principal by now. Your Sales guy is seriously letting his dealership down. MY2016 HSE D SDV6 - gone due to fuel dilution problems.

I'm going to give my dealer some more time its not that I'm in a rush I would just like to know where I stand with a ETA if I order a car its not to much to ask.

I know if I pop in ill get treated great every time but I shouldn't need to chase and wait for something I consider a simple request.

On a positive though both the cars I have are totally faultless I don't have a bad word to say about the product. Evoque will now have the new 10.2" screen so news of that update on the sport must be very close now.

All the dealerships seem the same to me these days, just bought the wife a touran and all they wanted to do was push the finance , would only throw in mud flaps if I payed over 3 years , they would have been the dearest mud flaps ever bought.
Wife's happy, I'm happy.
