Not as high value as an SVR but I insured my AB with NFU Mutual. Due to my city location, in the past they had always either refused to insure my cars or quoted ridiculous premiums. However, last year for the current car their quote was only about £150 more than the cheapest but cover and customer service was miles better and worth the extra in my opinion so I went with them. I paid just under £1,300 but that's London so should be cheaper for you. Current: Volvo XC90 T8 Inscription Pro PHEV with some optionals on top

Just got a good deal with Lloyds Bank car insurance, about £800 (thru LV), unless you are about 18 u should get a similar quote! |

Tried everywhere, in the end (thanks to Sally) I went to compare the market and Lloyds came out best. My previous insurer wanted £2k+ |

High value, highly desirable car with some well publicised security issues in the family. Hardly surprising the insurers are twitchy... 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

It's hard to compare quotes amongst people with different models, ages, postcodes, mileages, driving history, claim history, optional extras, mods, named drivers etc etc. L405 P400e Autobiography (MY2020)... Silicon Silver / Espresso

I live in the middle of London, had only had 1 years NCD when I renewed my Supercharged Autobiography at the end of last year, no accidents or convictions, my 27 and 28 year old children as named drivers and insured with Privilege for £1,050 which I thought was pretty good.

Nope, Harrogate - pretty low risk. I was getting about £400 on the TDV6, but the SVR is quite a jump. RBS and RAC are coming in around £800, but just wondered if there were any specialists worth trying. |

Just tried Privilege but their limit is £75k - it would be good if these companies told you that at the start rather than letting you spend 10 mins completing the rest of the form! |

Good point about the insurers....it is always worth paying that little bit extra for a company that honours its promises....worked for thirty years in that side of the business whereby I was coming into daily contact with the car insurers and their salvage systems....best insurer by far when dealing with claims was NFU Mutual... Proper company and an excellent claims team.... Second was Axa...very professional and organised....worst was Aviva......
