I've thought for a while now that it would be great to have a button like the M series BMs have where you press it and it engages sport mode on the gear box and slips it into dynamic mode on my MY12 TdV6. I mean everytime I want to drive it spiritably I press to change into Dynamic and put the gearbox into Sport anyway, so why not do it with one button?

I'm sure it would be fairly simple for those educated in electronics as both are simply controlled by electronic switches anyway. But where would said button go? I would elect the CD/DVD eject button location as the obvious choice as I never use it!

No need to click "Dynamic" on the Terrain Response and selecting "sport" on the gearbox at the same time, as selecting "Dynamic" actually switches the gearbox to "sport" anyway IIRC. Regards etc.,

I didn't think it did on the sdv6. Only on the supercharged variants. Could be wrong but I certainly don't get the same impact on mine in dynamic compared to sport mode. -----------------------------------------------

Checked my S/C, selecting Dynamic does not select Sport Mode as well, same as Selecting Sport Mode does not select Dynamic Mode, but select both together, floor the throttle and *hit hang on to steering wheel or else you end up in back seat. First time I ever bothered doing that, must do it again sometime just as well had just filled up with petrol .
