I've got the harmon kardon system, LCD display. Assume that's not the logic one Smile don't know much about the RRS media systems tbh.

Yeah they are good chaps. The list of work they've done to it is mammoth now, and it's driving like a dream Smile only issue I've got with the car is no Bluetooth audio! But aux will do.

You need to get a tune2air device if your car has a media interface unit?
If not you can get bluetooth via AUX boxes on ebay for less than £5
Something like this maybe, plugs into the AUX Thumbs Up

Any experience with those cheapy things? I'll probably get one anyway tbh. My latest gripe is the bloody sat nav lady. Once she starts yelling you can turn it down, but the next time she yells it's loud again. Mute seems to work *sometimes*. The system itself works just about well enough, but the sound is pretty annoying.

Not personally, but there are quite a few over on the D3 site which have them and don't seem to complain. Agree, got to be worth a punt for £5 Thumbs Up ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i

Press and hold the music note button and you can access various settings including the navigation volume offset. Thumbs Up Visiting from DISCO3.CO.UK

I'll give it a go now. Thanks.

EDIT: She was only on +1, the lowest setting! I'll have to look some more.

Changed the footwell, door, boot and reading lights to ice blue LEDs just now (miss them from the merc), looks much nicer than the halogen glowing orange. Makes it feel a bit more up to date inside. Next I'd like to replace the vertical grey trim round the head unit/sat nav to match the wood trim I've got, and get some black door pulls to replace the same grey.

I'm sure there is a perfectly logical reason Tom for your avatar photo to be upside down? Question John

Huh, that's weird. It's the right way up on my laptop, but not on my phone Very Happy Also if I download the avatar as an image on my iPhone, when I view it in gallery it's the right way up!

No worries, these things happen.
I checked to see if you were one of our Aussie friends first. Very Happy John

Well the blue LEDs are way bluer than I thought when using them in the dark. Looks a bit 'young' for me but it still beats cheap orange glow. I want to get rid of the chrome mirror trim as well, as that adds to the London drug dealer look too Very Happy

Your eyes won't thank you for the blue LEDs I'm afraid; they struggle to handle blue light and it affects homones too. Warm white is much better for them and reduces fatigue, or you could try red if you want something different and eye friendly. Thumbs Up Visiting from DISCO3.CO.UK

Yeah I know blue isn't the best. I thought they would be just off white, a really ice blue but they're basically normal blue. I'll change them if they continue to bother me. I'm fine with the colour in the footwells and doors, it looks nicer, but the reading lights will probably be changed to white LEDs.
