I have had information from a good source (JLR Exec) that an announcement on the MY2017 RRS is due "imminently". Upgrade likely to include 10.2" InControl Touch Pro system as a minimum. Stay tuned... |

About time to, with the crap systems they use now, that's for sure. John

The 10.2" screen in Evoque has the seat heater controls returned to the touch screen, after all the complaints on here with 2014/2015MY RRS seat heater controls from the touch screen you would have thought that the idiots in the design department might have learned that it didn't work then and probably won't work easily in the new system. The stupid system in my 2015MY HSE Dynamic is the one thing on the car that really annoys me. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

If you look closely at the website picture you can see this is the current screen. It has the shading to the sides where the soft keys are. 2016 Range Rover Sport SDV8 HSE Dynamic (Indus Silver/Santorini Black Pano Roof, Ebony/Cirrus leather, custom grey Style 508 alloys) |

My March 2015 car can only control the seat heaters from the touch screen but to get there there is a conventional button on the dash that opens (after about 10 seconds of thinking!) a window on the nav screen where I can switch on and adjust the seat settings, to turn the heater off again I have to go through the same system to get the control screen before my backside catches fire! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it 2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced 2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW |
