I've had a issue with the usb socket in the lid of the centre box not working. ipod works but not usb. the cable that connects the hinged lid to the storage box/fridge has kinked and when wiggled the usb works. i need to replace this cable but speaking to land rover they can't find this cable and suspect its part of the whole dash loom that costs thousands...

Has anyone got any ideas on this?

Try and Google ipod link lead LR015905 it might be what you need.

My land rover dealer looked for ages and has actually emailed landcover direct as they was lead to believe it was part of the whole dash loom.

It seems to me, that the USB connection is actually fitted into the fridge unit:

Hi Ian,

I'm not saying that is what you want but it may be a possibility. I think it may plug in to the back of Usb/ipod socket in the cool box lid and then down into the main harness. It is only a guess though.

Wouldn't have a clue what is involved in fitting it though, even if it is what you need.
