Check the other key - it might be that the key you're using isn't charging up for some reason. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

Only the rear near side door is locked ......at the moment. |

Just tried the locked door as you suggested, and I can now get it open!! Thanks for that advice, have to get it booked in and sorted now. Oh! how I love my trips down to the dealership......! Thanks again for your help. |

Well I had an interesting visit to my local dealership this morning to replace door lock. Said it would take just over an hour, so after telling me they couldn't provide me with a courtesy Freelander!!! I waited. After 50 mins I went to look through the viewing window to see if they were nearly finished....no! The 'technician', I use the term very loosely was stood there trying to force the back door open...........quick sprint across to the service desk, I asked if I could open the door for them. Went into the workshop, which is out of bounds to the public, health and safety issues!! followed your instructions ....door opens....mouths drop open....Had to wait another hour. |
