Haven't looked at replacing the roof lights yet, but been told they are different to the rest? Just need to know what they are called?

Are these just a straight swap? No resistors needed? After having nice LEDs inside the merc I'd be up for fitting some in my RRS after I pick it up this Thursday.

As I said- all the roof lights, footwell, lower door, glove box lights are the same type. The only ones which are different are the vanity mirror lights- but LEDs are a bit too bright for those anyway. So you only need one type of bulb for everything |

Yeah straight swop and, apart from the glovebox, and very simple, cheap and effective mod. |

Yep your right! Just been out and changed the front roof lights, but can't get the covesr to the rear roof lights off! Any pointers how I get these off without damaging them?

Think I just used a table knife- can't remember it been tricky but I know the wire can disappear behind the headlining if you don't hold on to it when you take the old bulb out. |

Not directly linked, but is there any way to get passenger lights to come on when doors open, my options are on permanent or off it would appear? Thanks. John

There is a way if you have a search on here- pretty sure it involves soldering skills though. |

I've got LED's throughout the interior and after buying off ebay etc. I've found that the only ones that have lasted are the ones from Advanced Factors, yeah they cost more but so far I've not been disappointed.
