Hi Guys

HAs anyone used asda tyres before.
I have used them for the past few years and find them excellent prices and even get them fitted at the local Halfords.

Guys at Halfords reckon they couldn't do the tyres at that price ?

I'm also a fitter for asda tyres,,the website is run by one of my suppliers,Bond International Tyres & I can do them cheaper than asda.I had a customer in Thursday's who had seen some pirellis on asda for £133 each & I did them for £105 each,,& I got them direct from Bonds.

Hi- sorry to hijack. Tyre fitter, I've just brought a set of tyres from Amazon for another car- could you give me a typical fitting (and removing old ones) price please? My local place has said £60 for all four- seems ok but just checking that's the going rate. Thanks

That's about the going rate Bladeboy,,we charge the same £15 per tyre if customer brings their own tyres for fitting.

Have you actually looked on Halfords autocenters site to see what they can do? Only reason I ask is I can get the same tyre from halfords for £15 less than quoted with Asda tyres.

Asda tyres are not cheap at all.

I don't think there is one place that's the cheapest. It all depends on the brand and size of tyre. Any affiliations, discounts for buying 2 or more etc. For example I can find fully fitted price of some tyres cheaper on halfords but then others with tyre shopper or black circles. Usually Camskill are cheaper for tyres delivered to then have fitted elsewhere.

I have a couple of tyre fitters I know who can and do give me decent prices when I've needed tyres. Always good to have a good relationship with the fellas you trust with your car.

Try cartyres.com. One of the advantages of using them is that you pay the fitter on completion of the job so no risks with online payment and associated scams. One thing I've noticed though is that prices change frequently online so its worth keeping tabs on them, even those who you've checked before and dismissed as being too expensive.
