Australia 2010 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 HSE Fuji White
On The Beach

Headed up to Belmont National Park the weekend in sunny NSW Smile the beast was a fecking nightmare on the
sand at 18 PSI (pulled out twice) , shown up by a toe rag of all things.. dropped to 15 PSI and all is forgiven,
amazing what 3 little pounds can make ..but not to be discussed with she who must be obeyed.. Whistle

one view of the sunrise Smile canvas city and then down the beach

Australia

I live at Belmont and not have heard 9 Mile Beach referred to as Belmont National Park - I appreciate it is now pay to drive on the beach - however Googling it, I see it is the old Wetlands management area is now a National Park.

Yes is a great spot and the sand is very soft and I have got bogged there many times but able to get out on all occasions.

There was a time I could drive the 1 km from home and be on the beach but as usual too many bogans got in there and mucked it up for everyone so now is a restricted area with hefty term access charges - yearly fees are not too bad but of course there should be no fees but understandable.

The whole area is not natural as the sand miners have been right through there over the last 90 years or so and the area is all reconstructed. As well the area was also owned by BHP with a couple of coal mines and infrastructure. Note the Golf Club was allowed to remain at the southern end.

Unfortunately the area has been loved to death.
