Hi.

Not sure how it works in Germany but in the UK it works out cheaper to go up a spec where the options you have chosen are 'standard.' At trade in, you won't see any benefit for your lovely options otherwise. If you are using finance, it would be cheaper to finance an Autobiography Dynamic in the UK than a fully loaded HSE.

Lovely spec.

Thanks, unfortunately price is approx 5k difference for the same Spec on the Autobiography, hence the UK always gets a better deal!!

Yes that may be the same here but the residuals of an Autobiography are always higher than a high-spec HSE so finance works out cheaper as you're paying off less depreciation.

You have climate seats and remote park heat but no heated steering wheel? I find that the it only takes about 1.5miles to get the engine heat belching out of the vents on a cold day. The heated seats and heated steering wheel can cope for that short distance so I would cancel the remote park heat and add the heated steering wheel and save some tax and fuel. The heated steering wheel is the only optional extra that I really miss from my last 4 cars as for my RRS2 I took a car that had been pre-ordered by the dealership and was being built two days after I signed on the dotted line. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Remote park heat is great and the heated steering wheel is the best feature I've had on a car in a long time.

Some places in Europe have taxes on anything over the basic spec, not yet the UK (yet!) 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Espresso interior with almond trim

Well she arrived today ! Had my fingers crossed on my chosen combo but what a great colour Barolo Black is.. The photos show the glint you get in the sun.. but in the shade it is a moody black... Espresso Leather looks a treat too and the combination is very opulent yet the interior still light due to the almond capping. . Love it.... Engine has a bit more 'rasp' than the MY 14. .

Thanks Everyone for the feedback and Guidance on options,

1. I have added heated steering wheel as it makes sense
2. Also will leave the remote heating as winters in Lux can be very cold and I have to do the morning school run
3. No added tax or extras for stuff here in Lux, the only thing I can say is that Second hand car market ridiculously good compared to the UK. Residuals much better than the UK. Wink

Boldygo, the new car colour Combo looks fantastic! The barolo black looks great and must say with the Espresso leather has a wonderful look look to it! Matches the leather I have for the A7 that I am driving. Anyway Wonderful choice and wish you the best as you get acquainted with your wonderful RRS!! Happy Driving!! Thumbs Up

Anyone have a Espresso Almond combination - Almond Seats with Espresso Dash? Love to know if you like the Combo. I had originally chosen the Espresso / Ivory combo. But the Ivory seats were just too light for me. I have to young kids and an English Cocker in the back!! Big Cry

Have you seen Carpathian in the flesh? I have it with stealth and a contrasting black roof - contrast is very noticeable and works very well and I was very concerned about this (I actually ordered in Corris then changed).

Great options, sound system is worth every penny

Must admit have not seen it in the flesh, the decision was always Waitomo Vs Carpathian. Dealer plus other sales staff that I spoke with said their choice would be Carpathian. Hard decision but finaly convinced myself. Seen all the pictures etc and appreciate your own thoughts on the colour.

1. By the way just added the load opening in the back seats. Thoughts it may come in Handy one day which will pay for itself!!

2. Should I select the cigarette lighter option to ensure kids have sufficient charger options inside for IPAD?

3. Need some advise on Alloy protector. Any opinions and has anyone tried Alloygator?
