What are my rights?
I own a 2014 L494 Black AB, purchased from a LR dealer. The car was a demonstrator and had done 900 miles when purchased in Sept 2014. The car was recently scratched in a car park and some of the paint was chipped off, revealing Red lacquer underneath. A local paint shop is sure the door was red originally and can spot the overspray on the inside edge. Before I go back to the LR dealer where do I stand? The dealer did not reveal I was buying a damaged / repaired car and they were the only registered owner before me. I thought I was buying a 'nearly new' ex demo car. Any help much appreciated.

I'd get two written opinions from independent body shops you trust.
Then I'd take it up with the manager first or if you want to go nuclear then find out the directors of the dealership and write to their registered HO (I've done this to good effect before)Evoque HSE Dynamic

Thanks ... LR Head Office requested paint depth readings which my local dealership provided and result is that LR will pay for the repair costs. Work will be done by my local dealership. Very happy with LR customer service.2014 RRS AB Santorini Black

Always good to hear stories where LRCR step up to the mark and support the customers who buy their £60k to £100k products......
