So far the disease (Babsiosis) carried by ticks that got headlines on the news today is confined to Essex BUT everywhere else in the UK dogs and humans have to be aware of the danger of tick carried Weils Disease. It is a particularly serious problem if you live in an area with a lot of deer as they are immune to it but pass it on to the ticks that live on them and that then hop off into long grass to wait for a tastier carrier to jump onto. We have a huge problem with ticks within the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park due to the huge number of deer that are not being culled to control their populations. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
