I will take photos of the rear seats. The left hand side looks fine, the leather on the seat looks smooth and tight, whereas the right hand side rear passenger seat looks like they started with too much leather so it is loose and crumpled/creased in places which over time will only get worse exaggerating the sagging look of it. |

The seats are made by a 3rd party supplier so LR management needs a rocket for accepting such poor finishing. I've seen better quality leather finishing from Ikea.......... And Ikea's leather chairs are probably made in China not by supposed "craftsmen" in the UK. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

My dealer told me that as leather is a natural product the seats will all vary!! Bit like their Quality Control then! MY16 3.0 SDV6 Autobiography in Aleutian silver, stealth pack and toys. |

Well I am almost two weeks in, actually a little more. So far so good with the normal Land Rover abnormalities.

Shutting down - when pressing park and releasing your seat belt after an 'auto stop start' shutdown, the ignition will switch off. It's designed this way.

Comments above correct for 15MY and earlier parking sensor activation.

The wiper scrape is when I lift the wiper to 90 degrees to get access to the screen for cleaning. Mine just touches the bonnet on the LHS. The shut down may require Auto Stop start which I turn off most times so this may explain the no rhyme or reason to how mine shuts down. My issue with the park sensor is that the fronts should just be on all the time, with the option to turn off. IMO . Just to add something I did not mention , I was very happy with my fuel consumption. I cruised at 126 kph indicated, speedo error is 6 kph , and got 7.8 litres per 100 which most likely is a little low as the speedo is out. But all in all a very fuel efficient vehicle so far. Drove in Auto and Dynamic mode most of the time , also used cruise as the Hume is a pretty straight boring road. M16 SVD8 ,4.4 HSE with a few extras, Sold R50 , Wife SQ5 , BMW R1200GSW. |
