Parking sensors drowned?

Inevitably drove through some minor flooding on Wed am commute. Parking beepers don't any more Big Cry

Reverse selection produces one long beep or 4 short beeps or possibly both consecutively ........... then silence from from rear and front.

Do you think there's a chance they will start working once it all dries out? - he asked hopefully!!!! 2011 TDV6 HSE Stornoway grey, ivory trim

Entirely possible that there is some minor damage to the wiring caused by a light bumper bump. The wet gets in and they play up. My rear sensors do this from time to time when it's wet. I know my rear loom is damaged because I've repaired it once. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed
