Well after buying my first RRS in 2006 kept for 3 years, bought another in 2009, now after 6 years buying my third.
It is a 3 month old 2016 HSE with less than 1k on the clock.

My question is about insurance, my other two Sports I had trackers fitted to help with insurance.

Now I have read that as standard my new Sport has InControl Secure fitted.

Is this a tracker, is there an annual charge?

I have not yet picked up the car so haven't been able to delve into this yet.
I didn't ask dealer as wasn't aware of this, thought it was an extra....

Anyone give me some clues about this..?

Yes it is a tracker system, but not at all similar to the aftermarket systems and you can also monitor your car on a smartphone app if you have a good high speed internet connection. There is a subscription that covers you for the 1st 3 years, it also includes a recovery alert system, but this can be used as a negotiating point. The system is Thatcham approved and only a few ignorant insurers will not accept it. I have used the "original Tracker" kit in the past, I will take a look at the Landrover website and maybe discuss with dealer.
