This happened on mine the other day, like you a cold start with just a brief shaking then back to normal. |

Sent mine in to the stealership for the same issue. I made sure it was when the weather was cold & it was left over night. They couldn't find any issues - it remained the same through 2 years of ownership - only ever happened on cold mornings seems to be a common issue 16MY Estoril Blue SVR.............

Thanks guys, It's comforting to know I'm not alone. I plugged in my universal code reader - there are no codes Had SWMBO start up while I watched under bonnet with hand on top of engine and it didn't look or feel that dramatic.

Exactly the same here on MY2006 , kept undercover in a barn but if I know we're going to have a temperature drop overnight I just throw a duvet over the bonnet LOL , it does work No more lumpy starts on cold mornings . |

I had my 2011 into local dealer yesterday for same problem took it down day before and told them it only happens in the first 10 to 15 seconds of starting then its fine the rest of the day . Result nothing on fault sensor so run it until it develops bring it back in.
