I'm unimpressed with current 3ltr sport so don't want to order one and have the same issues spending 20k+ more.

Your a patient man Phil looks like the wait was worth it for you. Still feeling the same ?

There lies my little story. Went for the SDV6 and after 4 weeks realised my "mistake" after being underwhelmed by its power, bit the bullet and went for an SVR. Still have a tricky moment on the horizon when my good lady will be seeing me arrive home in a different car Rolling with laughter

Only just got in from driving about all day. What can I say? What a car, the sense of occasion, so solid and planted, a great turn of speed, but the noise this thing makes is unreal! I've had a Ferrari 360, an R8 and an M3 V8 that i bought a £5k Akropovic exhaust for, but this knocks spots off all of them.

I can't help but put my foot down everywhere!

Oh, did I mention the noise Bow down Bow down Bow down 2016 RRS SVR Estoril Blue

Was waiting for a moment to ask this question, now seems perfect. To get the best noise is it just a case of keeping the exhaust button on or does it sound better in dynamic mode aswell??

It is fun and childish. Very Happy I can count on two fingers the number of times I taken a trip of any distance and not at some point, usually near the end, when I've kicked it into Sport and Dynamic mode.

Yes. And when starting cold (but obviously not high revs).

Can vouch for the cold start noise that Phil mentions, a neighbour had an F Type V8 R until recently and his immediate neighbours complained about his workday 0530 starts, even with the special switch in the off position it was still not a quiet car when cold. He's just replaced the Jag with a Telsea P90? (sounds like a tax form!) with Ludicrous mode which is silent and goes just as fast as the F Type in lunatic mode when he wants to hurry,it has AWD unlike the Jag so it can handle Scottish winter weather and can carry passengers and luggage unlike the Jag, and costs less to buy and fuel than the jag did. It also gets nearly as far on one charge of lecky that the Jag could get on a tankful of 4* for a lot less pounds. BUT the Telsa has a problem.............. It looks like a big Mondeo, it isn't exactly a lovely car to look at. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Why would someone want a silent car after owning a V8. Every time you drove the tesla, something would be missing.
