My FBH came on following a short trip out earlier - Temp was +5. The last few very cold mornings it hasn't activated at all so I was surprised when it came on today. How do you get it to come on first thing in the morning (don't have a remote option) does the ignition need to be on? Thanks

It will come on when it needs to when the engine is on, based upon water temp, battery voltage, fuel level and external temp.

Bodsy- I think the money might be better spent on a gearbox flush. My TDV8 has 110k on the clock so suspect it will be due? If you let me know when you're going past Preston way next maybe we could book it in? I'm off the M6 at the Broughton junction 10 mins to junction 3 down the M55. Thanks
