Thanks, will do. Just the small matter of sorting out a house move first, then I'll be on the hunt... |

I must be in the minority 'cos I went for a 2010 model over the later version because I don't like the pop-up rotary gear knob (complete frippery IMHO). Following feedback from owners LandRover went back to a proper gear lever with the RRS2.

I test drove 3 on the same day from a Indy dealer. 2008, 2010, 2012. All under 40k miles. You will know what I mean if u do the same. Tbh I had no intention of buying any of them as I had my eye on another one, but it was 200 miles away, so I drove each to get a sense of what was updated, how each one felt etc. All of them were excellent cars in their own way, but they went from 25k to 35k so not really apples with apples. I would advise you to do the same between a 2010 and 2012 at least. It will be 2 hrs well spent. You may even not consider the changes worth it, but at least you will know. 2015 RRS AB SDV6, Fuji White, Ivory 2012 RRS HSE SDV6, Sumatra Black and Ivory Audi A5, 3.0 TDI, Gone Audi TT, 3.2 V6, Gone BMW 5 series tourer, Gone |

One thing I hate about the 2012 is that silver strip under the rear window. Much prefer the 2010 tailgate where its all one colour. |

Well I didn't actually know that it was a facelift thing. I had the option of two cars, the one I bought which was a 60 plate tdv6 AB Sport and the other was an 11 plate that had an AB exterior conversion. Not sure if there were any other small changes that came with the sliver strip but it may have influenced my decision had I known |
