I come across discussions on timed climate on some RRS's from time to time.

Can someone tell me if is can be enabled on my car and what it might entail.

Timed climate should just need enabling on your car. Remote operation however needs extra components in addition to enabling. Current: Volvo XC90 T8 Inscription Pro PHEV with some optionals on top

If you get yourself a free login to Topix here:-

You want the "Independent Operator" option then you should be able to enter your VIN number and get the build spec which should tell you if TC is fitted.

No i don't have it enabled in 'Extra Features', so i assume it never was.

I will try Topix and see.

I would love remote, but if its timed that would be good anyway.

Either get an IIDTool and enable Timed Climate yourself or contact Disco_Mikey. If all you need is to enable TC and you're not interested in having a fault code reader that can also perform an impressive number of other tasks, it will be cheaper and easier to get Disco_Mikey to enable it for you. Current: Volvo XC90 T8 Inscription Pro PHEV with some optionals on top

Yeah, i have been in touch with Disco_Mikey to talk about a Remap, so will probably wait until then.

I've always fancied the IIDTool tbh as i'm interested in seeing what can be done mind you.

I recently bought a used EAS BT tool and just waiting to get it activated for my VIN. I wanted to adjust the height of the car a little bit.

Thanks to Peachy it appears i have confirmed that i do have the burner fitted, just not enabled for some reason.

Love to get timed climate activated!

All UK diesels have the FBH fitted as standard. It's just some people would have specced timer and /or remote when ordering new.... Visitor from fullfatrr.com

PicsIts not been activated as LR for some reason, at build time want £1025 just to activate. When the waybesto burner is already fitted. I paid £50 at an Indie to have mine activated,and bought the reciever and antena and remote and fitted that myself P
