No stamps at all or just for the last 3 years?

No mate just the last 3 years missing. What do you think? Dodgy?

Not dodgy necessarily but you'll certainly find it harder to sell on without a complete service book- without it you can't really say FSH which will put a lot of buyers off. unless he's neatly kept all the receipts when he's done his own. Personally I wouldn't buy one without a complete history. Price is ok with all the boxes ticked- including FSH- which it isn't really.

Looking on Aurotrader I would say it's priced about right.
Just a shame the last 3 years servicing is not checkable unless you can get the address details of the previous owner from the V5 and try to contact him/her.?
If the work was done by a landrover independant specialist then it should be ok.

I got my first 57reg TDV8 with no warranty and cost me about �2k in 18months! Alternator, compressor, coolant leak, wheel bearing etc.

I got my 2nd 60reg TDV8, full 2yr LR warranty and hasn't missed a beat  2010 TDV8...

Yeh im just weighing up my options and going to look at a few others before buying. If they arent any good then ill just go for it

Yeah this is it. If he didn't have the service history missing on a ford focus or corsa it would be such a big deal but I think that's holding me back from buying it but once I've seen 4 cara this weekend I can make a decision on what I want to do.

If it turns out that this one missing three years services (been serviced now mind) then I'll go for it.

I think the car is sound and a really solid motor so maybe I should look past the missing three years service .

It might have been that the guy just took it to a friends garage or serviced it himself hence no stamps.

Fingers crossed I find my car soon.
