Not quite sure why Dynamic mode should increase brake wear? Other than you might be driving faster that is?

You may be right about how one drives and the application of the brakes, however since larger dics are fitting to vehicles that have the system I have assumed that there is extra brake force required on such vehicles. My R50 was quite heavy on brakes, Brembo,s and I would be lucky to get more than 50,000 k out of a set of front pads , although the car is heavier than a RRS. I am assuming that RRS dics are not easily obtained after market ? M16 SVD8 ,4.4 HSE with a few extras, Sold R50 , Wife SQ5 , BMW R1200GSW. |

Mine has Dynamic option. Obviously you don,t have it switched all the time. The discs are bigger at the back, And I think at the front. My pads still have plenty of meat on them.. Done 41000k. RRS P460e

Its the torque vectoring by braking that uses limited amount braking on inside wheels when going around bends at speeds. Amount of pad wear should be very limited due to this feature. |

I wouldn't imagine Dynamic mode is an issue for excessive wear. I would suggest driving style and type of road use are more of a factor eg city commuting v motorway/freeway driving.

Well I have a two day wait now and I should be in my new car. Dealer has confirmed a Monday pickup, and all is ready. I am sorting some music to load so I can enjoy the drive home. I have purchased from a dealer 80 k's from my home town.
