Having removed my locking detachable towbar i now have a 'gap' in the plastics where the towbar mount can be seen. from the back. I assume there must be a cover of sorts for this.

I want to order one and fit it myself.

Does anyone know (or ideally have one for sale) the LL part number so i can ensure its the right one.

Also i assume its not too difficult to fit - Not a bumper off job??

Btw lookup these guys on Ebay if you want to get a replacement key for your tow bar:

With ID and the number of the lock they will send you a replacement key.

I would imagine the part arrives in grey primer, ready to be painted to the colour of your car. (if it's the part i'm thinking of)

It could well be. There are two covers. A bigger one for the electrics and a smaller one for the toe hook mount. Mine came with the toe bar attached so no cover. Its not the little red plastic insert i'm after, more like a larger flat plastic bit.

Seen some on Ebay, but none for a 2012 and want to make sure its the right one hence the question RE the part number.

Unles you've got the Autobiography extended bumpers the tow cover is a one piece plastic plate held on by two turnscrews

It is not painted as it fits in the natural finish area of the bumper below the paint line.

I believe the part you need is LR015132.
