I would love to know how LR thinks up the colour names............. having spent many hours on ships going up and down parts of the River Indus it is neither gold nor metallic in colour................ milky coffee brown or dull grey with dead cows and goats in it, the odd human remain and a gawd awful stench most of the time too. I've been to Aruba too................ it isn't silver or gold either, but very pretty all the same and much nicer than the Indus! I suggest you call it Aruba Gold rather than Indus! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

I think this colour is the very best to show off the new RRS. Well, I would, its the same as mine, although I have the Ebony/Ivory interior.

Tim, Indus varies a lot. You've probably only seen the parts where it meets or is close to the sea, by which time it has collected all sorts of pollutions over its ~2000 mile length. Next time try going further up and you may find parts that inspired LR to name their colour after it. The waters in the pictures below aren't exactly silver but are just meant to underscore my point about variation: PS: Great looking car scrumps Current: Volvo XC90 T8 Inscription Pro PHEV with some optionals on top Gone: MY16 RRS2 3.0 SDV6 Autobiography Dynamic, Carpathian Grey & Santorini Black Sliding Pano/Ebony & Ivory 2 Tone Gone: MY13 RRS 3.0 SDV6 HSE Black Edition, Orkney Grey/Ivory Gone: MY09 RRS 2.7 TDV6 HSE, Santorini Black/Almond |
