Thanks for your reply Toka. I shall have to speak with the dealer in the morning. When did the dealer order the vehicle? It seems hard work ordering a new sport especially if your after a good deal!!!

New infotainment system and upgraded front bumper would be nice. It would really bug me spending a lot of money on a sport and having the last of the current crop. Big Cry Just arrived: Range Rover Sport HSE Dynamic, black contrast panoramic roof, red brembos.

2013 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 Autobiography Alaska White

I ordered my vehicle last October. Initially was quoted Feb build for 1st March delivery but then date got pushed back to march build due to changes I needed to make.

Normally dealers know before we do about the model year changes but this time it's the other way around! Previous - 2008 RRS 2.7 HSE Black
On order- 2016 RRS 3.0 HSE Dynamic yulong White & stealth pack

I was ready to order an RRS MY17, provided that it would have the new infotainment system and the upcoming facelift with full LED lights, and - hopefully, or wishful thinking - restyled and better seats. The dealer told me MY17 changes would only add the new infotainment system. Minor facelift and full LED lights were planned for MY18.

Because I don't want to get an RRS just before the facelift change, I went for an XC90 T8 instead... so no RRS for me this time... maybe later I'll come back and join the club. Wink

The dealers do not seem to know what's happening next week with the RRS, let alone in two years time!!

JoBonnie - Have to say I have just had a loan XC90 that was only 3 weeks old. Its was the 'R' trim and it was very nice with some things a RRS would not have. The LED lights were fantastic, it was like driving during the day and the center console was massive! Land Rover need to update their product soon or risk being left behind especially with a price tag around £15-20K more. Having said that, still not a Range Rover!! Just arrived: Range Rover Sport HSE Dynamic, black contrast panoramic roof, red brembos.

United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Sport SDV6 Autobiography Sumatra Black

Thanks for replies. Being told my car is March production and 2016.5 MY but still no details of what the changes are. Think dealers know but under embargo. Would assume the upgrades will be on show at Geneva. Wonder why it's so secretive especially as it's quite late in the current MY - 2017 will be out in September? On order Corris Grey New HSE 5+2 with Santorini contrast roof , ebony/cirrus interior and panoramic roof.

I hope it's not anything too major as my car has arrived at the stealers. Evil or Very Mad

However the MY16 changes are a nice touch, so I'm happy. Very Happy Arrived: MY16 A/B SDV6 in Aruba, Ivory interior, piano black trim, black panoramic roof, spare wheel, blind spot monitoring, mudlaps and more... Twisted Evil

So I am due to have a March 1st delivery - does anyone know whether the car is likely to include "the changes"? My stealer is ignoring me - I'd rather delay the car than miss out on the new model changes.

My stealer finally got back to me on my e-mail re changes and delaying. Assume he just has no idea?

"No there will be no updates to the infotainment system on your vehicle or any in the near future, you have nothing to worry about there as they have just updated this in September."

Might be true. Jaguars supposedly with the new infotainment system are still not being delivered, nor are dates being given, could be there is an issue with it.

Allegedly the F Pace will get it, but that won't start delivering for some time yet. MY2016 HSE D SDV6 - gone due to fuel dilution problems.

I now have my 2016.5MY Sport on order but no build date as of yet. The dealer still can't tell me the changes but did say they were very minimal, has anyone else anything to add on this?

The dealer thought I might see my new vehicle very late in March/ early April. Did say I was the first in line within their group to get one. Just arrived: Range Rover Sport HSE Dynamic, black contrast panoramic roof, red brembos.

I have a 16.5MY car with a build date at 2nd week of March. Delivery to dealer due 1st April, but they think it will be with me before the end of March. No confirmation of changes over 16MY yet, but I notice there are no 'new' features showing in the configurator today, despite the 2016.5MY price adjustments being live.

My order was price protected at 2016MY prices, so I'm glad I placed it last week!

United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Sumatra Black

In the past spec changes appeared on the Configurator a few months before the model was into production. (However, the Configurator was/is often wrong).

Found this on Topix via another forum. Looks like we could be getting InControl Touch Pro soon.

SSM72604 - Jaguar LandRover, InControl Touch Pro – Nerve Centre Support

Models
Discovery Sport / L550
Range Rover / L405
Range Rover Evoque / L538
Range Rover Sport / L494

Issue
Introduction of New Technology

Cause
Service Compliance Notification JLRP00052v2 has been issued to support the introduction of the new InControl Touch Pro system to the Jaguar and Land Rover ranges, this is an extension of the existing X351 MY16 InControl Touch Pro Nerve centre to further the scope of support across model lines. The central JLR team will again form a Nerve Centre to promote rapid identification and resolution of customer concerns. This process is effective from the moment you receive your first vehicle, and will run until further notice. All global markets will receive Nerve Centre focus during the launch phase, and your National Sales Company & Importer technical staff will be invited into the forum to keep abreast of the very latest technical fixes.

2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

Unfortunately members here seem to read documents on ToPix rather more often than most dealership staff, especially service managers. I have previously had to haul out an ipad and go to ToPix to show a service person that there are outstanding updates on my car that have fallen into the VIN range when they have said that no updates are due....... Often we know more about what is on ToPix than the people who are supposed to use it day in day out! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced
2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care
Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW
