I Have A Dream

Hi new to the forum.
Would LOVE a RRS but it might only be a pipe dream....
The loan i can afford,The insurance i can afford,Putting the diesel in it i can afford.
Its just the ££££££ bills to repair it that's putting me off.
ideally would like newer than 59 plate with 60k miles tops,
Preferably 3.0 V6
Budget £22k
Am i dreaming or could this really happen??
Any reply appreciated.

Course it could happen- if you get a decent warranty- about £6-700 a year you won't have to worry too much about repair bills. Consumables wear a bit quicker than some cars- but not ridiculously so if you start with a good one. Go for it, you're a long time dead !

Take your time looking but be ready to strike. There are lots out there and some of them are very good, some not. It took me 6 months to find my and it worked out great.

United Kingdom 2010 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Bali Blue

I spent months trolling through countless adverts for cars,,, I knew exactly what I wanted,, 70k max on the clock, black with ivory interior and a 25k budget.
What did I buy??,, ball blue, 80k on the clock and spent 28k but it has everything on it,, don't regret it for a minute, turns heads everywhere it goes. Been running it for 2 and half years now, had to renew the brake discs and pads straight off which I did for less than 200 quid courtesy of advanced factors. Also got my local indie to do lower front arms and hubs,, oh, and had a megaflush,,,, nothing you wouldn't expect 2010 RRS, TDV8
bali Blue / colour coded
side steps / flappy paddles
black perforated leather
22" overfinch
heated everything, TV,fridge ...... now with gold calipers and mud flaps !( black mud flaps that is) !!
Many years ago,,,,, 1955 series 1 landie , sometimes wish I had kept it

Go for it, but don't push the budget too far and underestimate what you may need for maintenance. Thumbs Up Visiting from DISCO3.CO.UK

Don't worry about the naysayers Andy, because more often than not they've never even owned a RR Sport, it's always "my uncle had one" or "so and so down the pub had one" etc etc.

I've owned many vehicles (Mercedes/Jaguar/Audi/BMW etc) and nothing, nothing, comes close to a RR Sport.

United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Santorini Black
I have a dream

If it's what you want and can justify the expense then go for it.
I have spent the last 6 months in search of mine and I am pleased to say that I have just done a deal on a 2007 Tdv8 in santorini black with full almond premium leather with alloy finish interior trims,(no fake wood grain Confused ).
One previous owner, 48k with full dealer history done every year regardless of miles covered.
Full service with front discs and pads done only 150 miles ago.
Car is absolutely pristine both inside and out.
I have managed to speak to the previous owner, ( which is a big advantage if possible ), and he assures me, ( and I have no reason to disbelieve him ), that he hasn't had any issues with the car at all except the standard service work needed.
He said that the rear seats have never been sat on.
I have probably paid a little more than I bargained for 21k, but at the end of the day it is exactly what I wanted so it is money well spent.
Going to cover it with a decent warranty just in case Thumbs Up
