Terrorists

Todays security scares only prove to me that I need a car like my RRS - to transport my family in comfort. Thumbs up to the security services but I wouldn't like to rely on public transport to get to work etc. As soon as an incident happens the whole public transport shuts down and worse of all I could be a target/victim on public transport. (Iknow this latest plot was intended for planes - but the basic threat is to all publically used transport) 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

MI5 are doing a great job though it appears, maybe that drive to recruit asian british muslims has done the trick here..

either that, or this mass hysteria is a really a ploy to pass a stupid law or something today while everyones attention is diverted! bit conspiracy theory ist.. but u never know..

From my side of the pond, many thanks to the British intelligence community for their diligence and professionalism. Too bad all that extremist hatred is allowed to fester and grow through so-called teachings that encourage the slaughter of innocents by misguided and opportunistic vermin.

I too am a regular traveller, doing a lot of air travel. I'm currently in Canada and will be going to Zurich and Venice next time home. I can only say that these people are scum and do not deserve to breath the same air as the rest of us.
Hats off to the Intelligence people for stopping this one. Great work and countless lives saved.

Gary I do agree, just putting a little story in here. I'm 100% behind these measures as long as when the immediate threat is gone things revert to normal. My general worry is that measures introduced to stop terrorism migrate into everyday life for less serious crimes! 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

was that supposed to be a question? If so, then I'm not sure - depends on how much air travel you do
