The brake callipers, especially on the front, are bigger; if you look at my mud-flaps thread on the LR CS forum, there's a picture. The fronts are blue with the white Brembo logo. TBH, the SVR wheels are not hugely open, so you don't see the callipers very clearly but I agree black and yellow would work well. Mark

Thanks for the feedback. Waiting to hear from the factory as to whether my two little requests would be possible.
They will probably say 'no problem, that would be an extra £10,000.00 Sir.....'

... and that's just to give you a quote LOL.

Reminds me of when Rowan Atkinson crashed his McLaren F1 with a £1.2m repair bill and it's said McLaren charged £40,000 just to do the estimate. Mark

What sort of deals have folk found insurance wise for an SvR? My dealer has come back with £1950 (with £1000 excess). Seems a bit on the high side Confused

Im 31 and my insurance was in the £400s. No points or claims. I used compare the market and rang them to confirm everything just in case. 2012 Evoque
2014 Sport Autobiography
2015 SVR for the fun stuff
2016 Evoque SI4 Dynamic Lux for the daily drive
2016 Defender 90
2018 SVR

The AB I ordered was Barolo black with Indus Silver roof. If I ordered an AB now, it would be the same.

But for an SVR for me it would always have to be blue (and without contrast roof).

Thanks Phil. Have you any good pictures of the AB with the silver roof? Carn't find any which makes my decision a tricky one!

No, because I paid the deposit on the SVR at the same time knowing that I must have one and the AB was delayed so ended up not bothering with it and waiting for the SVR.

ETA: I ordered the Evoque with an Indus Silver roof and the dealer thought I was mad. Apparently several customers noticed it in the showroom before it was collected and changed their order from black to silver.
