I got one! and bodykit question.

I finally bought a 2006 SC (registered Feb 2006 but I assume 2005MY - how can I tell?)
Am really happy, done 60K and 10 dealer services in the book including autobox oil change 5000 miles ago.
So fingers crossed it doesn't give me too much grief!

Question tho, does anybody know the bodykit that's on it? The guy I bought it off (not original ownser however) reckons its factory fitted. I'm just curious. I thought it was HST but they have the square exhaust tail pipes I think.

Cheers

United Kingdom 2008 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HST Java Black

Looks like an Arden kit

Certainly not factory, and definitely not HST. No idea what exhaust (tips) they are though, although look similar to the Arden images.

HST front, for comparison (and yup, you're right, HST has trapezoid tail pipe trims)

Cheers..

The VIN will tell you the model year. The last bit of the number will be either 5A123456 or 6A123456. The 5/6 before the A tells you the model year (2005/2006 respectively, obviously). 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

It is the Arden kit , I have the same on mine but it has been slightly modified ( lower oval vent holes blanked and the rear diffuser smoothed into the bumper) I do think it's a nice alternative to the AB kits 😃👍

Most likely an 06MY if it's Feb 06 - 06MYs (mine included) were coming out well before the end of 2005. Thumbs Up Visiting from DISCO3.CO.UK

True, but the VIN will say for sure and you can check it just by reading the number from the windscreen. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed
