hi everyone lm new to this forum, was wondering if anyone can help with my problem, I have a water in fuel light come on, I have changed fuel filter and also the sensor to the filter but light still coming on, can anyone throw some light on this. Thanks in advance

Faulty filter housing. Common issue

Is there any easy way to get the whole unit out, I've got the same trouble and tried removing it the other day. I managed to get the thing loose by unbolting the 2 bolts and then sliding it to unclip it, but couldn't physically get it out?

Do you have to remove the filter housing from the metal bracket before you can get it out?

I know I got the and ended up putting it back togethor with the old one!

My first one was on a 3.0 D4 (same setup as RRS) and what would appear to be a 5 minute job, ended up taking over 2 hours
