Ian - can the tdv8 be done without the ecu being opened? If so, I may be interested but probably after Christmas in all honesty. I have a superchips map already, but am not that keen on it. Can the egr but be done without re-map? If you could pm me a price for map, egr remove and timed climate that would be great. Cheers, Steve 2010 TDV8

Does any of these ECU maps do much for for MOG. I am happy with my TDV6 2011 HSE performance but would love to somehow get the MOG from 25-29/30 Current Merc GLE 3.5d 2016 model, 2011 RRS HSE standard

Previous to LR's 3 x Merc E320 estates - fantastic load carriers and long distance cruisers, ultra reliable. Only changed as needed a 4x4 high tow vehicle. Did have a 1955 early LR drop down windscreen and fuel tank under the drivers seat; again very reliable and super rugged.

When I compare my mpg before the remap and after, I've improved by about 3/4mpg with nothing else changed and driving in the same way I had before it was remapped.

Of course if you drive like you stole it, then the extra power will use more fuel.

Others have reported improvements of 10-15% in the real world, but I usually carry a few hundred kg of extra bolt ons and stuff in the boot. Bodsys Brake Bible

I guess 10-15% equates going from 25 mpg to 27.5 - 28.5 mpg. Which over 8,000 miles is a 40 gallon a year saving which is about £200 a year saving if only considering the mpg benefit based on a maximum 15% fuel improvement. ECU remap at a guess £450 so recoup in 2-3 years. Current Merc GLE 3.5d 2016 model, 2011 RRS HSE standard

Bodsy sounds like the man to know. BTW what exactly is a 3 flash lane changer?

When indicating to change lanes on DC/Motorway, the 3 flash indicators mean you just push the indicator stalk slightly for the direction you want to go and the indicators (as the name suggests) just flash 3 times to let people know you're changing lanes.
Saves having to engage the indicator stalk properly and having to physically knock the indicators off eveytime.
