Safety feature or fault. Advice please.

Hi all

I would appreciate any help with this question. I have noticed that if the radio is on in my RRS and I then brake hard eg sudden change to traffic lights then there is long beep from the speakers. The beep is not that loud and seems aligned with the radio volume and it stops as soon as the car comes to a halt.

What do you guys think? Fault with the audio system or some sort of safety feature to make you aware?

Thanks

Josh

Have you got a Dash Cam fitted ? As my Dash Cam does this when it detects an incident like sudden braking or speed humps and accident itisme

I just tried an emergency stop in my car and there was no bleep from the radio. I would say that something is not quite right?

Are you braking hard enough to activate the hazards? MY2016 HSE D SDV6 - gone due to fuel dilution problems.

Hi

I think the hazards came on the first time I noticed it. Will check later.

Thanks

Question

How hard are you braking?

So. It is rare but does happen. 3 times in 9 months. Last time today was a 50 mph road where the lights went from green to Amber, I reckoned the car should stop so I went for he brakes. That's when I heard the noise.
