Morning guys, just picked up my new RRS. My 07 plate has served me very well with 138K on the clock, but the time has come to replace it.

New one is an HSE Lux on a 11 plate, registered in late Nov 11.
However it appears to have a somewhat MY12 spec....partly.
I am not sure what version it is, maybe you guys can help tie it down.

It has no gearstick, but rather the rotary knob. if that helps

It has the ICE Premium pack, but appears not to have the option to upload the CD's to a hard disk.
Not sure if it is a software, or hard disk is missing, how do i check.

Can the software be upgraded to the latest version ?

Don't seem to have software to set the FBH on a timer. Not sure if i should or not.

Hi Andrew,
You have the SDV6 model RRS. Which is the 3.0L Twin turbo diesel 255 BHP. The SDV6 model came out Sept 2011. You can download music to the hard drive from a CD. Once you put your CD in, go into the settings on the screen, and follow instructions. You can get the sat nav updated, but it is via your dealer at an extortionate cost.
Enjoy you new car, the SDV6 is a cracking car.

Loaded a CD and looked for the "upload" button on the touch screen, but nothing appeaed !
That was what confused me.

Its not a big issue as i just dropped a USB stick in to the cuddy box port and will play stuff through that.

More interested in the FBH timer, but looks like i don't have it !

When i was looking for the upload button in my MY12 RRS, I couldn't find it at first, but if you press play for the CD, then go into your settings, the upload option is there.
Sorry i can't help you with the FBH query.

Def get the FBH timer done or the remote control add on which Disco_Mikey can fit and enable for you up in sunny sunny Scotland.
I keep ordering kits in and people keep wanting them fitted!

As others have said, it is a very useful feature to have. The price BC provided is worth every penny. It cost me even less though: bought the parts, fitted myself, already had my own IIDTool to enable it and sold the parts before part-exchanging the car. However, buying the IIDTool JUST to enable timed climate and remote park heating isn't worth it because that alone is close to £400.
