The old auto flush question

My car is coming upto 60000 so am thinking about changing the auto box oil. Though I am in the trade we don't have a flushing machine so I was thinking of changing the oil 4/5 times as an alternative, or is it better Togo for the flush ?? 2008 G4 RRSport TDV8 current

If you've got a couple of plastic barrels, you can to a flush yourself if you're in the trade, it shouldn't be beyond your capability Wink
Put a Schroeder valve in the cap of one, and a pipe connected out the bottom with a plumbing valve to open close it. That's the one you fill with clean fluid.

Then another pipe to discharge to an empty barrel.
Connect to the transmission pipe you remove from the radiator and connect to the radiator.

Pressure the barrel with the clean fluid up about 20psi
Have an assistant open up the valve as you start the engine and put the transmission through reverse, and drive sport mode 1,2,3
Your assistant should see the Black oil coming out and when it gets clean, it's done!

Or go and get a megaflush. Thumbs Up Bodsys Brake Bible

I bet you can't tell which oil is the before and which is the after......

This was the second flush, first one at about 83,000, purely preventative, second flush at around 160,000 again, purely preventative. Will change again at my next service which will be around 205,000. Bodsys Brake Bible
