Compressor bracket replacement

hi, I'm going to change my suspension compressor bracket this weekend (hopefully) I've just been reading on removing and refitting compressor and it said when refitted that the computer needs to be reset, is that buy way of diagnostics?
I was just hoping I could remove, refit, start car go through height settings and hey presto job done.. Laughing

Just realised I meant to reply to this the other day. No need for diagnostics unless you're replacing a Hitachi with an AMK. Thumbs Up

Be warned - the top bolt is a PITA to get back in! Mad I found a couple of universal joints and extensions over the top did the trick. Wink Visiting from DISCO3.CO.UK

Awesome, thanks a lot, yes did read that top bolt can be a pain, I've also got to pop over to Land Rover to get 3 clips just in case any break when undoing bolts. Thumbs Up

Definitely worth replacing all three clips for ease regardless of condition of old.

I found using a ring ratchet spanner between the compressor and bracket to reach the top bolt easier. But you will find your best method from trial and error.

I replaced my compressor bracket a while back - no resetting of computers etc was required. 07MY RRS TDV6
