RRS HSE Dynamic 3.0 S/C remap

Hi everyone,

I have put a deposit on a RRS 3.0 S/C in Geneva, Switzerland. Dealer has Demo vehicle. Good price, good spec and ready to drive away.

Test drove the diesel and petrol. Diesel felt better in town due to the torque. Petrol had to kickdown to get it going but sounded better.

Is there anywhere good in Switzerland, Germany or UK for a remap. For Christmas i am driving back to UK. Want to get a remap to improve the torque.

Any where recommended?

Thanks all

Jav

Try Bell Autos, off the A64 between Leeds and York.
Remote remaps available too.

How much of an increase in acceleration does the remap give you on a 3l sdv6?

I'd be interested to know how you felt about the changes and how they affected the fuel economy?

Sorry for the late reply.

The car feels more responsive, way better than before.. It's run better on 98/99 ron. I get around 20mpg these days. Can't remember before the remap. Similar mpg on a long run through France and not driving at speed limit. L320 - MY12 - 5.0 V8 N/A.
L405 - MY14 - 5.0 V8 N/A.
L494 - MY15 - 3.0 V6 S/C.

20 mpg from the 3.0ltr ? Might as well gone for the 5.0SC. SVR 2018 in Santorini Black.

Driven gentley it gives near 30mpg. But driven constantly around 200kmph anything will drink. Most of my driving is around town.
Walked into the showroom and they had this available. It was an ex demo. Good spec and discount. Couldn't say no. L320 - MY12 - 5.0 V8 N/A.
L405 - MY14 - 5.0 V8 N/A.
L494 - MY15 - 3.0 V6 S/C.

FWIW I'm averaging 34mpg (according to the trip computer) from my DMS remapped SDV6 but my driving includes a mix of urban, rural and motorway driving. This is about 2mpg better than before the DMS remap but the improvement may simply be due to the engine loosening up. I have had a number of cars remapped by DMS and all have exhibited a performance improvement afterwards with no discernible consumption penalty
