Nowt wrong with 59mph... as long as you're doing it in lane one, and not being a middle lane retard who has the idea that lane one is 'the slow lane', even if it is in this case |

My MY16 (3.0 hse) has 1600 on the clock. I acheive between 21-25mpg per tank. My best long journey was 35mpg. MY16 (65) RRS, HSE, White, 21" 507s, Pan/Black Roof, 7 Seats, Ebony/Cirrus, Surround Cams, Fully Color Coded |

The endless 50mph limits on the M3 have produced an indicated 42.3 mpg for me! So, probably a real 35mpg, |

I agree with Malcolm whatever the trip computer says the MPG is one needs to run the average MPG for at least 1,000 miles or do a brim to brim top up and then measure the true MPG. I think most will be shocked as the true MPG for most 3 litres RRS is circa 23-29MPG . All the dealers will agree with that range. The SDV6 might make 32 if one is lucky. Again all these figures are real life figures not taken off the fuel computer which over reads. Current Merc GLE 3.5d 2016 model, 2011 RRS HSE standard

I have managed an average 21.5 mpg in my MY15 Supercharged which has done 5,600 since I collected it 11 months ago. A lot of my driving is from London to the Midlands and back and the 50 mph on stretches of the M1 probably contribute to that. I try to ignore the < 10 mpg for 6 mile journeys in London or a blast along a B road |

Mine is from Eco data, going to track it from a full tank to see if it differs. |

if you would like to monitor your fuel on a brim to brim more accurately then register with Fuelly.com and add the data at each fill up, you can even add part fill ups if you dont brim to brim, but it is easier to to brim to brim. I don't understand people who only add £10 of fuel at a time to an RRS! One thing though is if you add their link in your signature it is not updated for some reason by this forum 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
