Muddy I have just been informed by the Mrs. that they have dropped a Disco Sport loan car when picking up my RRS to sort out AHBA and some other issues. I have test driven one before and thought it was good value for money. I will make sure to give it a good "unaccompanied" test. This one is manual though. Current: Volvo XC90 T8 Inscription Pro PHEV with some optionals on top

I don't think anyone would ever try to compare the two, they are two different price points and different levels of luxury/spec.
I think One could compare this to the Evoque and you'd be silly not to test both if thinking about purchasing either, but to compare against the RRS is way off the mark, be it the 'old' RRS1 shape of the new RRS2  ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i

However I compared taking into account the price difference and I'm really impressed

I had a RRS2 HSE loaner when they were launched and I wasn't impressed due in main to price admittedly

Received an email to say my DS has finally arrived but I'm still trying to get an explanation for the 3 months it was stuck at factory since being built

Tbh , I would have cancelled before now, but I understand why you haven't just yet. Are you enjoying the free courtesy DS ?

Apparently been loads with problems stuck at factory and dealers for various reasons

If I hadn't had the courtesy DS I would of cancelled by now

I'm very happy with the DS so prepared to put up with the delay but I'm not accepting the vehicle unless I get full disclosure on what's been happening to it for the last 3 months
