I'm thinking about my winter tyres and remembered the jacking point on the l494 is like a keel /fin . Is there a modified jack pad to suit or are you chaps using a couple of old phone books and sticky back plastic.

I had to modify the saddle of my long reach jack so that the jacking point "fin" was the sole point of support, not the surrounding bodywork. My jacks are MachineMart which are "OK" but no more. They have rubber pads but lifting an RRS takes it out of the rubber pads and although they are a service item, the manufacturer is currently back-ordered. Mark
