bluestone, your car will be worth £31,500 as a private sale and £29,000 as trade value (part exchange may be higher if the dealer can make a lot of cash from what they are selling you).

Only caveat with the part exchange price is you do not know how much the dealer is inflating the trade price with the profit margin from the sale they plan to make to you.
