Personally, I'd cut my losses and get a decent set on there

Yep, good advice and I agree with you there. Not had the car long (four weeks).

Agree with Bc, get yourself a decent set of tyres.

Wouldn't be surprised if the previous owner put on the cheapest tyres they could prior to the sale. "Four new tyres" is a bit of a sales gimmick but many seem to think it helps the sale. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

Budget tyres are no good on 4x4's,,I get them coming into my tyre bay asking for budget tyres for RRS & FFRR & I explain they will NOT last long as they nearly always split on the inner sidewalls & I get the same answer every time,,(sorry I cannot afford anything better) why do people buy cars that they cannot afford to run,is it just to impress the neighbors. The 1st thing I look at when I'm buying a vehicle is the tyres & if they are fitted with budget tyres I walk away because in my opinion if they have gone cheap with tyres they probably have with servicing & brakes etc.

My tyre fitter charges me £12.50 per tyre fitted. Guaranteed no wheel damage whatsoever. I still find it cheaper to buy my tyres online then have them fitted by my tyre fitter, than buying my tyres from him. He is more than happy to fit my own tyres |

The only trouble is with buying online you don't get the same guarantee,,I've had customers bring their own tyres to me for fitting then come back a month later with a problem with tyre & I have then charged them yet again to remove tyre so they can (at their cost) send it back to where they purchased online & most of the time they don't have a full size spare so I sell them a tyre at a cheaper price than they paid online in the 1st place. If they had purchased off me & a problem accured then I would replace at no cost as I can send back to my supplier for credit.
