Battery Question

Just had 2008 RRS 2.7 TDV6 in for repairs(Dealers) and they mention the battery needs replacing even though its always starts first time, they mentioned the new battery from them is very expensive and best if I go for other make which would be cheaper, the mechanic mentioned the battery should be DIN95, all the auto parts shop I been to don't have the battery only a DIN92 or DIN110 both are the exact size as the Land Rover battery that's been on since new, the company I work for deal with the rep who sells Exide batteries but he is on holiday till next week, what Exide battery type/code should I ask him for that would do the diesel model I have, I have looked on the Exide site here in NZ but not much info to match the original DIN95. Cheers

Exide 017 Premium

Not sure what the equivalent down your way would be, we don't work in DIN with batteries

I have just replaced my old battery with the Tayna Exide Premium 017 and I am incredibly happy. The car hasn't started this well before, so I can warmly recommend it!

I expect shipping to Oz may be a bit prohibitive Whistle

My D3 has never started as well as it does with the Exide in place, and for less than £80, you could almost treat it as a service item every 2 years Thumbs Up

Well having big trouble trying to get a battery(the one above not available in NZ) met with the rep for Exide batteries who works out of our workplace and the closest he could come up with was one with CCA of only 800 where as my original LR was 950 CCA, none of our Motor Factors can help either, looks like I am stuffed,
