I heard that on the news too. It's a Censored disgrace. And last night they were talking on the news about the governments great plans for per mile tolling on the UK's roads. And they wonder why people are doing a SuperT and Censored off out of it... Shocked

Ive just recently lett'd out a block of flats to the council, for apparently people who are in danger/can't work.. basically single mothers, domestic violence victims etc. The council rent the flats off us on their behalf, and the benefits we see is that the rent is guaranteed, plus the tenants aren't whinging private tenants, so they will go to the council with their woes etc.

Basically after moving a load of them in over the weekend, what i have seen is, basically the majority of them are bullshitting, (some have partners when they say they haven't..) and others, who are claiming disability, i.e. like that scruffy bloke on eastenders, have been up and down ladders, sorting out their new flats, most have very expensive furtniture, electrical items etc.. all just freeloading! i don't care though, tenants a tenant to me, whoever is paying. But its just representative of how the government spend the tax money it squeezes out of us all every year!

I thought road tax money was supposed to be spent on the roads!? Censored .. thats why we have some of the worst roads in Europe! i noticed even in Pakistan, the roads are better, and maintained to a better level then here.. this country is beggining to really tick me off too.. lets all do a superT and Censored off..

ok, I'm going to have a moan

I really need to stop working 16 hours a day and become a dosser - its looking more appealing everyday. We're currently in the process of challenging our Council Tax bill, as its now over 2.3k for a 3 bed house Shocked Evil or Very Mad I wouldn't mind too much however apart from the fact all we get for that is our bins (well, 2 bin bags) being collected once a week (this excludes any recycling collection - we have to do this ourselves as there is no collection) - we've no street lights to power or pavements to maintain - our lane is f**ked (hence the RRS will be a god send). I'm all for sharing some wealth around the community, however continously hammering people who earn over those who sit on their arses doing nothing does my head in

Spare a thought for us poor pikeys in D3s, U RRS guys can obviously afford the £1800 a year road tax as that is just a couple of weeks petrol. To us that is the years derv budget!

Ducking for cover! Only joking guys, honest!

I think we need a new public policy.. why do benefits exist anyway?

It seems the UK government hands over money and ask questions later.. its ridiculous.. we could all moan about stuff all day long. That Panorama show on tax evasion and carousel VAT fraud a few weeks ago.. that guy hiding in switzerland, he has taken a massive chunk of VAT about £25m and f'd off to switzerland, after being arrested and held in an OPEN prison.. his view on it way.. the Government give it away anyway, and it spends it soo stupidly, that who really cares whether i nicked £25m for me and my family?

Its all a vicious circle though, we have clients employees who claim low income benefits etc, and tax credits, and are eligible for them, once they get to a certain age, they need to apply for mortgages/finance on phones/cars etc.. and because of their benefits and their name being all over the system for this stuff, they can't get jack..

My blood actually boils, when i hear about councils and stuff blowing money for the hell of it on crap just to ensure next years budget is fully allocated to them! thieving barstewards..

I did, oh dear I must be loosing it! I don't mind reasonable, honest & fair taxes. We are not being taxed for the environment, we are taxed to pay for more & more expensive gvt policies, wonder if Bliar will be taxed on his Blair Force 1 and 2?
