Someone I knew bought a brand new Mk5 R32 and it was a nightmare so he ended up going to court to get a refund after repeated trips to the dealer failed to sort it - VW treated him very badly

I did wonder if it had some form of adjustable suspension . Air suspension on a Mk4 Golf sounds like a great idea - I had the GTi PD150 which was a cracking car except for the suspension which was too firm without being very sporty (if that makes sense). Always fancied the Mk4 R32 but the 40mpg driven hard, 55mpg driven gently in the PD150 was a nice thing to have. Having to replace the gearbox at 66k miles was less nice. I do like the blue on yours - looks very nice. Still think they look bloody silly with their bellies on the ground though... 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders 2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed |

Yes I might change the repeaters, previous owner changed them from clear to Amber which does give it a nice contrast. But again it's a preference thing.
