I did wonder why his window was wide open, initially...

Not that it would have made much difference Laughing

Brave, or stupid enough. I dare say the RRS has left the odd owner wanting to. Laughing

No doubt if one did it would probably result in "Bing!" "Park Brake Fault" the next day... Visiting from DISCO3.CO.UK

One day, when RRSs are £1500 a pop, people will do the stupid stuff that they currently do in £1500 D1s.

I've waded mine through the wading trenches at Eastnor which were a couple of feet deep. That's enough in something that, at the time, was worth £25k. Rolling with laughter 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

We have a member here , VA, who used to do things like that, he got his 1st RRS so covered in mud that he won a competition run by Turtle Wax that got him a 1st prize free car wash! He also deep waded his RAI equipped RRS but one day it went too far when he parked his car in the underground car park below Waterloo Station and came back to it after a flash flood to find it completely drowned, that was the 2nd total rebuild the car had in its lifetime! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced
2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care
Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW

I have waded in water that deep in the past in my classic 2 door RR, you pay for it in the end though the car just rots from the inside out. 2008 G4 RRSport TDV8 current

With all the electrics and ecu's in modern Discovery's and RRS, combined with the cost to fix them afterwards, I think you'd need to have very deep pockets to do this in anything but an old disco or defender!

Hi,
NO not going to do it in our current RRS its swmbo's Whistle
but this pic was taken about 10 years ago, its a 1999 TD5
so like a 2009 now Whistle and similar price to what a 2006 is now

the difference is we bought it knowing how it was going to be used and the scratches it would get, if its bought for that reason and prep'ed correctly Yes why not Thumbs Up

I think you will find that is jimmysalsa, or Jamie to his mates which i count myself as one of, the vehicle has a number of mods such RAI sealed as Snorkel, Extension rods etc, although that could have been pushing the limit. Another Pommie Bar Steward down under

Believe it or not, in Australia there are a few who do not treat them solely as school run tractors, but i do not
advocate trying to get it to do the front crawl Whistle Another Pommie Bar Steward down under
