DRDILL do you have a reference number/code for this issue (like Q543 etc.)? Over 2 months/almost 2,000 miles and mine are still OK but I would like to be prepared when the paint starts flaking off. Referring LR or the dealer to this forum may not be enough if they don't agree to replace the callipers. Just covering all bases even though so far they have accepted and rectified everything I reported without quibble (missing AHBA, fuel slap, seat leather, knocking noise due to a loose cable). Current: Volvo XC90 T8 Inscription Pro PHEV with some optionals on top

Just a thought on this, Jaguar F Type has these as standard, has anybody looked on the F Type owner's forums to see if there are similar issues with the paint. Jaguar also get yellow calipers and carbon ceramic discs for an additional GBP 9,000.......... I think I would be very upset if I had paid that sort of money only to have the paint peel off after 6 months. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

IIRC, I was told, the reason the rear calipers are effected and not the front calipers, Is that Brembo know how to paint their calipers. The rears are made by a different manufacturer, who obviously don't know how to prep and paint calipers properly.

I wonder if it is now reduced to one of these infamous "characteristics" that we have to pay so much extra for? 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

After 11,500 miles and the rear callipers are flaking. Have mentioned this to the dealers and they will look into it under warranty. Has anyone who has had callipers replaced noticed any improvements on the new ones?
