Hi all

Last year my indicator did a countdown to service due from 600 miles as I would expect, service is due next month and the indicator has just come up 'oil' with 0 next to it - no countdown given at all. Certainly not what it did before, just wondered if anyone else had seen it do that.

And no I haven't missed the display counting down for the past few weeks and just noticed the 0, definitely just flashed up!

Be interested to hear what others have found with this display, car does 8k per year, mixture of short and long journeys, gets serviced on the button at 12 months.

Thanks Bodsy, I couldn't find any info on it when I looked.

Pic below of the display, has been sat on '0 miles' over Christmas and I have done about 200 miles, again unusual as I thought it would have gone negative if I went over the interval.

Have also checked the levels and they are bang on - it never uses any oil.

Never seen that either

Just been out for a spin and it now says -25 miles so looks like the counter is working - was a 21 mile drive so guess it is actually more accurate than we give credit!

Will report back in the new year once the service has been carried out and see if the garage has ever seen this type of display.

an old post. but just had noticed the same on mine. oil and 0.
just came back from the dealer who replaced a dpf sensor, could they accidentally erased the service interval? as my usual dealer (who's closed for this week) just did a service this summer.

I wonder if it's only on DPF equipped models

maybe when they delete the error code for the faulty sensor, they also delete the service indicator?
