What tyres are the best for MY06?

Hi I need to get 2 front tyres today, and ive managed to find a pair of perelli scorpions for £119 each.

Are there any better makes for a rrs? or recommended make?

cheers

Hi Benj, I had Pirelli Scorpions on my 07 TDV8 for 5 years. I haven't trawled prices but £119 each seems good. They are good all round on road, but pretty hopeless off road but they don't profess to be a mud tyre. Good mileage out of them but I kept them balanced, tracked etc which is worth doing Thumbs Up

I fitted Toyo Proxes to every RR Sport I owned and the were brilliant; quiet, grippy and hardly wore (relative to the size of the vehicle)

Hi Benj,
I did a fair bit of tyre research for my BMW X5 earlier this year, and settled on Michelin Latitude Sport 3. Good ride comfort, low noise, amazing grip in wet and dry, and still have 4mm or so of tread at 18k miles. A lot to do with personal preference of course, but these get my vote Wink
Michelin were doing a £100 fuel card offer at the time, so the LS3's weren't a lot more than more budget tyres...
