Cover for RRS? Which is best one?

Looking for a cover for the RRS as she is outside and doesn't get used much.

Is there a cover out there that won't cause scratches and will protect her? My worry is if it's a cover that moves in wind then it might cause scratches. Has anyone used one outside and it's not scratched or damaged where touches the body or paintwork?

It is hugely expensive but Land Rover markets one that is specially designed for RRS2 and out side use if you go to the LRUK website and go through the accessories on the configurator. You might be able to get a forum discount from Dan@Duckworths by buyin g through him 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

I have thought about covers over the years but just don't trust them

Unless you clean it perfectly everytime before the cover goes on there is a risk of scratches and if the wind flaps it too

I even looked at folding frame type that keep the cover off vehicle but decided it would probably rip or break if we had a bad storm

You can't beat a garage - even a cheap wooden one

I'm moving and although it has a triple door cart shed I can't fit the DS in and will be thinking again what to do Big Cry Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW

It's a Land Rover, it won't die if you leave it outside! None of mine has been garaged in the last 20 years as they are too high to get under the lintel over my garage door and now the garage is full of junk so less incentive to get a smaller car! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

I just like it out of sight safe and ready to go on an icy morning Sad

Might need to look at remote heating control now but so far it doesn't appear to be retro fit like RRS Confused Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW

Does the DS have the same PTC electric heater as Evoque? If so then you shouldn't need an additional park heater if you have the heated seats and steering wheel as the PTC heater is a ceramic element heater rather than using engine heat to heat the interior and it is pretty quick at doing it. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
